MADE IN LONDON was a demonstration of our POP-UP practice at Old Spitalfields Market as part of the London Festival of Architecture 2014. From June 9-25, we worked onsite in our POP-UP studio, analyzed spatial and experiential challenges for management, merchants and consumers in the retail environment, and proposed macro and micro design improvements through rapid prototyping and participatory design. At the conclusion we shared our final proposal for a public promenade and mezzanine with the local community and the owner. We funded the project with the support of Slovenian companies and Indiegogo funders.
